ADR NA offers free scorecards

Ann Arbor, Michigan, June 1, 2010 – ADR North America LLC, has announced the release of three, free procurement scorecards for organisations reviewing their own supply chain “green” initiatives, risk management or stakeholder engagements. Each scorecard asks twelve questions supply managers should consider as they address these important issues. The scorecards should help identify weaknesses and prioritise actions to improve environmental sustainability, mitigate risks and improve collaborations.

“Global companies such as Wal-Mart and Proctor and Gamble are pressing their suppliers very hard on environmental issues, and it’s pretty clear that more will be doing the same,” said Bill Michels, CPSM, CEO of ADR North America. “We wanted to create a simple tool to help people get started thinking about these issues in an organised way.”

The Green Initiative scorecard asks about environmental issues such as landfill waste, energy use and the carbon footprint of operations. The Risk Management scorecard addresses areas such as supply disruptions, the financial health of suppliers and logistics. The Stakeholder Engagement scorecard looks at how to discuss with your stakeholders the most effective way of working together on projects.

The scorecards will be emailed to anyone requesting from here
