A major textiles and home furnishings retailer with more than 300 stores nationwide asked ADR Sourcing to reduce indirect spend at its head office, distribution centre and more than 300 outlets throughout the UK
After completing an opportunity analysis ADR Sourcing identified several areas of spend most likely to deliver rapid savings.
These included PoS print, in which annual savings of 30 per cent and other benefits including online artwork and order management and a helpdesk for stores to call were achieved.
Savings of 25 per cent savings were achieved on carrier bags while also gaining more reliable supply and an improvement in product quality and brand image.
Other major savings included 32 per cent on stationery and IT consumables, 25 per cent on PoS labels and carrier bags and 18.7 per cent on retail consumables.
The number of suppliers was reduced and SLAs were established to monitor performance.
"The project moved forward smoothly and in a highly professional way from the outset, with minimal disruption to our organisation. The results achieved were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend ADR Sourcing"
